Dr Samina Javaid, Consultant Gynaecologist and Menopause Specialist, offers both face-to-face and online consultations to provide expert, personalised care in a way that best suits your needs.
Face-to-face Consultations are held at Derby Private Health, located within the Royal Derby Hospital, Uttoxeter New Rd, Derby DE22 3NE. Consultations are available on Wednesdays between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and Fridays between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

- Face-to-Face Consultation: 30 minutes – £190
- Concessionary rate also available for recipients of means tested benefit / state pension. £25 for repeat private prescriptions.

2- On our Booking Portal, you will be able to select the Appointment Required, as well as the Date and Time for your Appointment.
3- Fill in your Personal Details.
4- Confirm your Appointment Booking.
5- Finally, after your Appointment Request is submitted, we will be in touch to confirm the Appointment and explaining what you will need for it.
No, you do not need a referral letter from your GP or another doctor. You can make an appointment without a referral letter.
A detailed health history will be taken during your initial consultation. Occasionally, if your health history is complex (post cancer for example) information might be required from your GP.
If you have any relevant letters or blood test results from previous medical consultations then please have them ready for your consultation.
